Alejandro Osses es Fotógrafo / Director / Investigador enfocado en sistemas alimentarios radicado en Bogotá, Colombia y Madrid España que estudió fotografía en la Academia Motivarte de Buenos Aires (2008-2010). Vivió en Londres en 2015 y 2016, donde se especializó en el alimento, su verdadera pasión, y donde ganó el premio mundial Pink Lady People's Choice Award Fotógrafo del Año. Ha trabajado con muchos restaurantes importantes en Colombia, Londres, Nueva York, Siena (Italia) y Madrid, y ha viajado por el mundo documentando los sistemas alimentarios y las comunidades que los rodean.
En 2018 fundó Mucho Colombia (una plataforma digital de comercialización de alimentos especializada en productos exóticos biodiversos de Colombia) ha trabajado con ONGS como Usaid, Programa Mundial de Alimentos, Fondo Acción, Conservación Internacional, Ecogourmet, Blue Action Fund, Fundación Bancolombia. Crearon una plataforma que se llama Venda y Aprenda que es un programa de aprendizaje que permite activar mejoras en las cadenas de valor de los emprendimientos comunitarios y/o asociados con el propósito de vender mejor. Otra creación es PESCA BIEN que se trata de tener toda la trazabilidad de la pesca artesanal mezclando la tecnología y la capacitación a comunidades. https://comemucho.com/
2020 fundó Frito LATAM https://www.frito.lat/ es un laboratorio audiovisual y de pensamiento centrado en los sistemas alimentarios, FRITO está compuesto por expertos en materia audiovisual y comunicación. Su trabajo resalta el rol de los mayores exponentes de los sistemas alimentarios y la cultura. Estos nexos nos han llevado a tejer una red por todo el país, la región y el continente latinoamericano de productores, cocineros tradicionales, investigadores y protagonistas de la gastronomía. Han creado series, documentales y actualmente producen el festival FUTURO COCA www.futurococa.com un festival para desestigmatizar la hoja de coca en el mundo patrocinado por Open Society Foundations.

Is a learning program that allows activating improvements in the value chains of community and/or associated enterprises with the purpose of selling better. His work highlights the role of the greatest exponents of food systems and culture. These connections have led us to weave a network throughout the country, the region and the Latin American continent of producers, traditional cooks, investigators and the protagonists of food systems.
