Corabastos es la segunda central de abastos más grande de Latinoamérica. Lo que se mueve ahí no es solo comida, hay bares, juego y en otras épocas era la excusa para mover droga en el país, a este mercado llegan productos de toda Colombia, cada producto tiene su propio horario de llegada, por ejemplo, el plátano puede llegar de 2 am a 4 am y hacer cola de camiones para su venta, y así con todos los productos. El precio lo deciden adentro según demanda y es un especulativo para el mercado de ese día en el país, es decir que si a los 3 o 4 personajes que manejan los productos mas importantes les da la gana de subir y bajar precios esto determina el precio en muchos de los mercados de la capital de Colombia, y porque pasa esto? Porque casi todos los los mercados como los super mercados, pLazas de mercado, tiendas de barrios, fruveres, mini mercados etc. de la ciudad compraron directamente acá para luego revenderlos en sus puestos de comercio.
